India is about to Launch a Rover to the Moon!
According to New Scientist: “India is going back to the moon. The nation’s second lunar mission, called Chandrayaan 2, is scheduled to launch on 14 July and land on the moon’s surface in early September. It will launch aboard India’s most powerful rocket, the GSLV Mk III, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in India.”
So what does this have to do with Gadgetcetera you ask? Well, truthfully, not much. But…we are obsessed with technology and especially tech used to explore the Universe in the raw pursuit of science.
